Pasek & Paul: The Outcast
Benj Pasek and Justin Paul have been recognized for their work’s contemporary edge, clever lyrics and unique concepts. The American songwriting duo teamed up several years ago while college students, united by what Paul called “a lot of insecurity and not being great at things.” Consistently throughout their work, the theme of “an outcast” is depicted in the story and told in the form of songs. Therefore, such notion became the conceptual driving force of the project.
This limited edition box set is a culmination and celebration of Pasek & Paul’s work over the years. It combines songs from different stories, composed by the duo, in order to tell one single story, the one of the outcast.
